I come from a big family and enjoy being around people and meeting new people. I enjoy walking my dog and love being out in the countryside. My hobbies include horse riding and reading when I'm not busy looking after my children. I currently volunteer at my local primary school, hearing the children read and this is one of the highlights of my week.
I have always felt like a carer at heart. I think it's so important to provide support to those who need a little help in being part of the community. I am passionate about enabling these people to get out and about and empowering them to realise their potential in society.
I worked as a support worker for a lady with autism and learning disabilities for 6 years and it was a very rewarding and enjoyable job.
I also help to look after my mother-in-law who has restricted mobility and depression and anxiety amongst other medical conditions. I pride myself on being able to support her in understanding her conditions, which she has always struggled with, and helping her to break things down into smaller steps, making things more manageable for her and in turn improving her confidence.
I am empathetic and encouraging and always friendly.
I have 3 children and plenty of support at home, including my mum who looks after the children when I'm working, enabling me to be reliable even if my children are unwell or not at school.
I have a Citroen c4 Grand Picasso, which has plenty of boot space and seats which are easy to slide on to.
Availability: Monday 9.30am - 1.30pm, Tuesday 9.30am -10.30am, Thursday 9.30am - 10.30am, Friday 9.30am - 1.30pm. I am currently unable to work Wednesdays and weekends.

2 hours+ visits £18.97/hr. 1 hour visits +£5/hr all of which goes to the carer as a travel allowance. +£1/hr if personal care is needed.
