I’m a private carer in the St Helens and Wigan area. I love helping others, it’s in my nature.

I’m a very experienced carer, I’m 45 and have done care work from the age of 18 and never looked back, I love it. I am kind hearted, independent, and work well on her own or as part of a team. I enjoy music, dancing, swimming, roller booting and spending time with my family.

I have have completed medication training, moving handling training, 1st aid and also have a level 2 qualification in food safety in catering (QCF) and safeguarding adults, level 2.

Availability: Flexible.

Carole enjoys socialising, walking her dog and family time.

She is proud to be able to offer a very personal service and always works with a smile!

She is a great listener and loves the work that she does, she is very efficient with her ability to think on her feet when necessary whilst always remaining calm and making the people she cares for feel safe and secure.

Carole has worked in healthcare for over 30 years, starting her journey as a healthcare assistant at Wigan Infirmary and then applying for a career in nursing where she acquired many skills such as working in cardiology, community nursing, prison nursing and then working as a sister in an intermediate care home for the elderly.

For the past few years she decided that she wanted a more hands on personal approach and worked as a PA initially for a lady with complex needs following a car accident, an elderly lady with progressive dementia whose family were struggling to meet her needs and at present for a gentlemen with a rare condition called Williams Disease.

Carole finds this work extremely rewarding and thrives on being given the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives and also that of their families.

Carole takes her work very seriously whilst also having a great sense of humour when appropriate, an essential quality within this type of work!

She has the ability to communicate with people at all levels and she is proud of the care she provides whilst providing respect and understanding of their needs.
Carole can offers a level of care she’s expect for her own family members providing both physical and mental support as and when required. She builds strong trusting relationships with both her clients and their families.

Availability: Part time work, preferably during school hours
