I am 63 years young, and have been working in the care industry for 30+ years. I love the great outdoors, walking in the Brecon Beacons since moving to Wales 3 years ago. My other hobbies include keeping fit and DIY.

I have been working as a live in carer since June 2019. I am very compassionate and a great listener. My mandatory training is all up to date, in fact I am always looking to keep my skills updated.

Availability: Days, 24 hr Live in. May/June

Any other information?: I am currently booked into assignments throughout this year. There are quite a few gaps that I would like to fill if able to arrange.

I am Izabella, I have a teaching degree in literature and I like talk and to help people. I am a cheerful lady with a good sense of humour and I like to help make people’s lives better and more comfortable.

My interests are arts, music, outdoor activities, reading, movies and I do knitting too. I am always looking for the positive side of things.

My strengths are good organising, time keeping, keeping everything tidy, recognising risk and keeping people safe. I have good manners and good communicating skills.

I have completed the NVQ Level 2 health and social care qualification. I’ve also completed training in manual & handling, health and safety, medication, incontinence, food hygiene, first aid, PEG feed and more.

Tell us about you! I enjoy knitting, reading and current affairs. I am great at communication, a skill I acquired over many years in the different sectors I have worked in. I'm caring, considerate, compassionate, highly organised, kind and of a very pleasant disposition. My greatest asset is my belief that one should give 100% in whatever they do and do it with a smile.

Having cared for my younger brother who is living with cerebral palsy, I have always known caring was a part of me. Although I trained in Audiology and Finance.

I eventually came back to care 23 months ago. I have worked with and supported patients living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, strokes and a host of other medical complications.

I am comfortable providing full personal care, helping with meals, administering medication, cooking, shopping, social outings, arranging GP appointments and general light house work.

Availability: Live in care work for up to 8 weeks and 1 week off.
